Community Microgrids

Community Microgrids are the convergence of Community Solar Gardens (CSGs) and Microgrids.  They are a potential way for communities to have a say in how their power is produced, while creating resiliency and sharing the costs.  In the developing world, community microgrids can be used to achieve electrification for the first time.  In the developed world they are often used to help communities achieve renewable energy targets.
